TITLE-LESS

I was going to title this END-OF-MONTH but it isn’t and there is no way I can make it be EOM.  Funny thing about time…it is always what it is, eh?  January is January, Friday is Friday, the 5th is the 5th, one o’clock is one o’clock and that’s all there is to it! PERIOD! and each of us, young or old,  rich or poor, etc. each of us has 24 hours in one day…no more no less.  And too often we waste whatever time we have.  Looking back on my life, I can see that I too have wasted some time and there is no way I can get it back and make that time more worth while.

I wonder what God will say to me when I catch up with him, (or is it the other way around?) Will he say, “Hey, I gave you 24 hours every day and expected you to use them wisely!  Why didn’t you?  Now I am giving you some more days.  Lat’s see what you do with them.  But there is a limit to these free gifts. Go ahead! Use them as you will.”  So here I am, puttering around on the computer.  Is that wise?  I wonder?

I was hoping I could get Marthe to write something here today, but she says, “Not now, I have other things to do.”  That means doing laundry, or cooking, or sewing, or vacuuming, etc.  Well, maybe SHE is using her hours more wisely.  What do you think?  Let’s see, maybe I can  come up with some kind of excuse?   But I am not complaining about her!  No way!  She does all these things for ME! and more besides.  She is a gift.

By the way.   Is there a way to do ‘spell check’ on a blog?  I will sign off for now as it is almost supper time so I will see if I can do something to help the cook.  Thanks for chatting with me……or , I mean, listening.

  1. We’re actually reading, not listening 🙂

And yes, I really do think there is a way to spell check a blog. I will show you:

That’s a picture of the text box where you write. The highlighted button should be the spell check.

  2. Ding! The picture didn’t show up. Check your email 🙂
